The island of Lemnos lies to the southeast of Thassos. Lemnos is a very popular surf and sailing destination because of its excellent wind conditions. There are many beautiful big and small beaches. In the southwestern part you find the best anchorages. Myrina the beautiful capital lies under the venetian “Kastro”. There you find many Tavernas, cafes and shops.
Lemnos has been famous for it’s great wines since ancient times.

Agios Efstratios is a very small island (18 miles south from Lemnos) with only one village. It has only 200 inhabitants. The harbour is good and the people there are very friendly and helpful. This island is specially for those, who want to discover something far from the more touristic destinations.
